As Boyertown just keeps “Building” and becoming “Better” the newest excitement of their quaint little town is the aroma of “Hard Bean Coffee” as they have announced finalization of plans for a new location in Boyertown, Pa. This café will be in the heart of the Main Street (128 E. Philadelphia Ave) as well as being a project of Building a Better Boyertown’s” (BBB) façade improvement program.
The owners of the café are a father and daughter team, Barry Kerns and his daughter Jessica,
native to the Berks County area. This energetic duo are exceedingly energized to open at their new location, as the café will feature a wide selection of the world’s finest coffees and teas, along with locally baked goods and authentic European desserts.
During Boyertown’s March 3rd Saturday (March 15) Hard Bean Coffee will be offering FREE samples of their coffee. The Grand Opening is scheduled for mid Spring.
BBB’s mission to help community enhancement’s by providing a matching monetary grant from its façade improvement program of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. One of Building a Better Boyertown’s main goals in their program is to continually develop the downtown Boyertown area. The façade improvement program is available to property owners located in the Main Street Area.
